Public Interactive & NPR Collaborate to Aid Station Use of NPR RSS Feeds
We are delighted to announce that Public Interactive and NPR have teamed up to simplify and facilitate station use of NPR RSS feeds.

Public Interactive plans to help client and NPR Member stations better use NPR RSS feeds by integrating them directly into key products, including Public Arts™, Public NewsRoom™, and Public Platform™. Now stations will be able to easily select their preferred NPR RSS feeds along with the other great content from sources including Reuters, BBC, PRI, and the New York Times Syndicate. While the NPR RSS feeds are now available to Member stations directly, this new partnership will make it much easier for PI stations to incorporate them into their sites. [more info]

"Public Broadcasting Takes You Places" Quick Pledge™ Incentive
February 15 to May 15, 2008: PRI and Public Interactive will once again offer "Public Broadcasting Takes You Places" (PBTYP) incentive, a special opportunity to encourage online pledging! During spring pledge drives, stations using Quick Pledge can sign up for this incentive to promote online pledging. Listeners who pledge to participating stations through Quick Pledge between the promotion dates: February 15 to May 15, 2008 will be automatically entered to the contest. The Grand Prize this spring is a Collette Vacations "Rome and Florence Holiday Tour" for two people on November 28 - December 5, 2008. The package includes round-trip air transportation, hotel accommodations, 9 meals and excursions during the trip. Winners will explore Rome and visit many historical landmarks including the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, and attend 'Dinner with the Tenors' opera while enjoying regional delicacies. The second half of the trip will take you to Assisi and Florence, where you'll get to explore the city's artistic and architectural gems. To participate, contact Sarianne Palmesano and provide the dates you would like to run the contest. We'll provide promotional materials to make setting up the campaign a snap: banners, graphics, pitch page copy, on-air scripts, etc. Logos for both Radio and TV stations will be available and you are welcome to customize the promotional materials with your station's call letters.
